We’re honored that ABC 7 (KATV) recently highlighted the work of the KKAC Organization and our mission to help Arkansas landowners build generational wealth and preserve their legacy.
At KKAC, our focus is twofold:
- Educating youth to see agriculture as a business and a pathway to opportunity.
- Supporting landowners in accessing resources, clearing up heirs’ property, and protecting their land for future generations.
Over the years, our team has reached more than 10,000 landowners and helped retain 5,000 acres of land. Much of this impact comes through assisting families with estate planning—creating wills and trusts, resolving heirs’ property issues, and ensuring land stays in the family.
As our Executive Director, Wilbur Peer Sr., shared with ABC 7:
“Most people in our community, we’ve lost about 90 to 95% of our wealth… 30% of it was lost because we do not do proper estate planning. We help landowners resolve that and encourage them to create wills and trusts for themselves.”
The ABC 7 feature also recognized how KKAC supports landowners in navigating legal processes, including the Arkansas Heirs Property Petition Act, so families can secure their property and protect their legacy.
We are proud to see our work recognized and remain committed to helping families strengthen their futures through land, wealth, and community.
